Hint # 3

Hint # 3:

For so long, I've been defined by my role as a Stay-At-Home-Mom.

Not a bad thing at all!

It's still my gig.

And a great one at that.

But now we're taking a HUGE leap of faith...

...I'm going to attempt adding a little more to the pot...

I could fail, yes. But I suppose you don't know until you try.

Wish us luck as I go forward on my new journey!

P.S. Have I mentioned how excited I am?!

Hint # 2

Hint # 2:

It's not directly related to my babies...

...BUT it is kinda pretty much sorta mainly about babies...

Am I the only one who loves babies this much?!

a big announcement!

...Will be coming shortly!!

Haha.

Do you like the suspense?

To make it interesting, I'll be dropping a few hints before the big reveal.

....

Hint # 1:

It's not about me having more babies.
Relax.
Lauren doesn't even sleep through the night yet.

(Although she's a pretty great nighttime sleeper!)

Ok, Ok…

You got me.

I like sacrificing my own nap to look at pictures of my girls.

IMG_3312_1

Yes. Even while they sleep I can’t get enough of them.

I seriously want to pinch their cheeks through these pictures….

and Lauren’s eyes!

IMG_3339_2

Oh my gosh.

They.Are.To.Die.For.

IMG_3334_1

Then again,

Chloe’s are purely heaven also!

I can’t believe how different these girls are.

Lauren slept from 7:00 pm to 5:00 needing her paci only once around 3:00 am.

She’s Da Bomb.

Just for a good laugh…

Here’s what’s going on outside of the camera frame whenever I’m taking pictures.

Haha.

IMG_3369

Chloe is never more than 1/2 a foot away from her sister at any given moment.IMG_3371

Which means you have to constantly catch her and stop her from toppling over on her unsuspecting sister.

IMG_3372

If you only knew the chaos of trying to play with both girls, take pictures and avoid Chloe using her sister as a stepping stool.

IMG_3307

My favorite naptime activity:

Turning on my desktop…

…Turning up Pandora (Coldplay Mix is awesome!)

…and looking at pictures from that morning.IMG_3318_1

This one cracks me up:

IMG_3321 IMG_3335    IMG_3387 IMG_3399 IMG_3407

At least all Chloe’s crankiness isn’t without reason.
Yesterday I spotted a little tooth poking through on the bottom to the right of her other two!
Hooray!

In other exciting news, Chloe realized (yes, just today) that her sister is actually a playmate of hers.  She wanted Lauren to play with these toys SO badly.

IMG_3434

Sure enough, Lauren grabbed right on.

Chloe was so excited.

IMG_3304_1    I could do this all day long.

A post about POOP.

So this morning I found myself the lucky recipient of a poop shower.

Yes.

A Poop Shower.

IMG_3282_1

As in poop went flying through the air.

Except more in a horizontal arc than vertical.

I’m not sure how she managed to hit so many different surfaces but that 3 month old sure can aim.

I’m not naming names.

See what a great mom I am?

Anyway, after taking a picture of the crime scene and sending it to Chris at work, I got busy cleaning up.

The man has a right to know what fun he’s missing at home!

I mean, Lauren actually coated her bathtub!

She wasn’t messing around.

I mean, really child, I understand you might not be partial to taking a bath, but do you have to literally sh*t on it?!

So after cleaning, I feel like I, too, deserve a nap.

IMG_3213

I laid my head down on my pillow, it felt SOOOO nice.

Then I thought of my mom.

IMG_3159_1The one who comments 12 times on every post not only to give me a good laugh but also to guilt me into making sure I post again as soon as possible.

So mom, this missed opportunity for a nap is for you.

IMG_3143_1IMG_3222

:)

See? I can hand out guilt too!

These pictures of Lauren were all taken immediately Pre-Poop Explosion 2010.

IMG_3194

I should have known by her expression that a storm was brewing…IMG_3226_1IMG_3263_1

These pictures of Chloe are significant because they show:

1. How extremely active and impossible she is to get a good picture of. IMG_3166IMG_3233IMG_3131

say “cheese” doesn’t work on her.

IMG_3210

IMG_3175

IMG_3133

Instead, she chooses to jump and bounce and run and turn her back to the camera.

IMG_3176IMG_3181IMG_3183

Drama.

IMG_3153

2. Chloe is teething something fierce.

Need Proof? Here’s Exhibit A: The poor otters never saw it coming.

IMG_3252IMG_3256IMG_3258

3. Chloe chooses to rip apart one of her favorite books while I feed Lauren one afternoon.  Really now?  I guess she couldn’t figure out how the book worked, so she decided to dismantle it and find out. Just like her mom would have. (see her pointing to it as she explains to me exactly how she created something so fabulous?!)

IMG_3122IMG_3129

If you’ll excuse me, Little Miss next to me just had another explosion.

It’s been fun.

IMG_3280

Come back again sometime!

So Busy

Life is so hectic…

It’s taken me all morning to get these pictures up but hopefully it’s worth it.

It’s just too fun around here.

IMG_3032

I am putting Chloe in front of the boob tube so she can watch Sesame Street in her favorite chair (my glider) with her juicy, blankie and Penelope so I can finish these up.

IMG_3026

She’s.In.Heaven.

The plight of an unsuspecting baby sister…

IMG_2939IMG_2940 IMG_2941 IMG_2942

Chloe saying “Oh, I didn’t see you there!”

IMG_2943

“You’re so cool!”

Lauren watching her big sister adoringly!

(like always)

IMG_29801

Honorable Mentions for today:

Lauren is VERY ticklish.

She belly laughs.

As of today she’s in size 2 diapers.

She goes down for naps and bedtime like a true champ.

…Staying asleep at night, not so much.

She grabs toys and holds them now also!

Chloe is boycotting the 2 nap a day game.

It’s 1:00.

Time for her first (and only) nap of the day.

Chris has school today until 7 pm.

Not looking forward to the witching hour with the girls on my own.

I see a park in our future.

Phew. Just in time. Chloe’s over Elmo even though Elmo’s not over.

Gotta Run!
