4 Months

A day late.

Story of my life.

Lauren, yesterday you turned 4 months.

I actually had to look at the calendar to make sure.

How is this possible?

Then again…

a couple days ago we broke out the exersaucer.

That should have been my first sign you’re growing up.

Except I still get to tuck a blanket in around you…

Which offically means you’re still a baby.

Then again, you’ll always be our baby.

…As you can see… Chloe likes the exersaucer as well.

  

You are just a peach.

So so so hilarious.

…and ticklish.

You love when we give kisses.

It makes you giggle so hard.

And any funny voices are of course your favorite.

You also get giggly when I wash under your neck.

Like you think it’s the funniest thing on earth.

You drink 4 bottles a day of the expensive high-maintenance ultra-sensitive formula which doesn’t help all that much to be honest.

Your bottles are either 6 or 8 oz each.

Usually one around 4am, one around 9:30am, 3pm-ish and last call at 6:30.

You get swaddled, we give you a paci (which you always lose) and it’s lights out.

Until 1 am or so when you realize you want your paci back.

Then again when you get hungry at 4.

Seriously awesome.

You nap around 8:30 am and then usually get in 2 more naps before the day is done.

It really depends on the day.

You are in size 2 diapers now.

You’re in 3-6 month clothes but still wear some 0-3 and newborn things.

Sizing makes no sense whatsoever these days.

You love to go to the park and lay on a blanket watching the clouds go by.

You love when your sister gives you kisses and you don’t even mind when she tries to twist your fingers.

Yes. Seriously.

I think you’re going to have some beautiful reddish hair… and those eyes…Ohh my.

I can’t wait to see what you look like when you grow up.

Oh and the last week or so, you’ve started doing little mini situps… I’ll call them ‘crunches’.

i suppose this 4 month birthday means it’s time to start you on solids.

Prunes are first on the list.

I’ll leave it at that.

Now Chloe would like to show you how busy she has been.

Especially her new dance moves.
