Lauren ate cake.
And now the house is quiet.
I can’t say the same about this picture that was taken while writing my post this morning (see the ridiculous amount of books and wipes in the crib? Yes. About 3 books deep.)
I can’t be the only one who gets sentimental about things like babies getting older.
I know it’s inevitable, but as she cuddled on the couch with me tonight LONG after she should have been asleep (thanks, sugar), I couldn’t help but think about how big she seemed, draped across my body.
Totally different from when she was a newborn.
But at the same time, she’s still SO tiny compared to her sister.
Who, in reality, is still considered a ‘baby’ to some.
Just weird.
Now, onto the pics.
Lauren wasn’t sure about her cake at first…
But you can see how she felt near the end :)
Oh yes, and I must give a shout out to the girls Auntie Paige who came to celebrate.
Thank you Paige, for making today so much fun.
The girls REALLY do love Peshie.
Waiiiitttt, do you come to our house just so you can be famous and get on the blog?
Well in that case, we may be home this weekend if you want to visit again.
(Inside Joke).
Where was I?
Oh yeah. Pictures.
I think the sugar has gone to my head.
These pictures of Chris and Lauren just tickle my heart.
Seriously.
She got cake in her eye so I figured we could cut her off.
But seriously, just such an amazing kid.
Hilarious personality.
Especially during dance parties on her birthday.
LOVE ya kiddo.

Lauren looks like she is wearing a "grandma hair bow". Looks like Laura might have had something to do with it. It is adorable. Cute cute cute. xooxoGIGI
