16 GB.

That equates to roughly 1700 pictures.

In 3 days.

I must get busy. I have a lot to edit.

This past week I took the girls down South to visit my parents.

And took a little trip down memory lane when I had a photo shoot with a friend from high school and her amazing family.

I have to be honest.

It is so weird to hang out with someone you watched Ferngully with as a  child and now meeting their husband AND their daughter!IMG_5226_1logo

I had so much fun and I am looking forward to coming back down and taking pictures with you guys again when the weather cooperates!

Abigail is a complete delight and Troy had me laughing non-stop!

Chloe really loved joining your family for a few shots also.IMG_5075_1logo

Now I’m off to spend a little time with the husband before bedtime!

4 Months

A day late.

Story of my life.

Lauren, yesterday you turned 4 months.

I actually had to look at the calendar to make sure.

How is this possible?

Then again…

a couple days ago we broke out the exersaucer.

That should have been my first sign you’re growing up.

Except I still get to tuck a blanket in around you…

Which offically means you’re still a baby.

Then again, you’ll always be our baby.

…As you can see… Chloe likes the exersaucer as well.

You are just a peach.

So so so hilarious.

…and ticklish.

You love when we give kisses.

It makes you giggle so hard.

And any funny voices are of course your favorite.

You also get giggly when I wash under your neck.

Like you think it’s the funniest thing on earth.

You drink 4 bottles a day of the expensive high-maintenance ultra-sensitive formula which doesn’t help all that much to be honest.

Your bottles are either 6 or 8 oz each.

Usually one around 4am, one around 9:30am, 3pm-ish and last call at 6:30.

You get swaddled, we give you a paci (which you always lose) and it’s lights out.

Until 1 am or so when you realize you want your paci back.

Then again when you get hungry at 4.

Seriously awesome.

You nap around 8:30 am and then usually get in 2 more naps before the day is done.

It really depends on the day.

You are in size 2 diapers now.

You’re in 3-6 month clothes but still wear some 0-3 and newborn things.

Sizing makes no sense whatsoever these days.

You love to go to the park and lay on a blanket watching the clouds go by.

You love when your sister gives you kisses and you don’t even mind when she tries to twist your fingers.

Yes. Seriously.

I think you’re going to have some beautiful reddish hair… and those eyes…Ohh my.

I can’t wait to see what you look like when you grow up.

Oh and the last week or so, you’ve started doing little mini situps… I’ll call them ‘crunches’.

i suppose this 4 month birthday means it’s time to start you on solids.

Prunes are first on the list.

I’ll leave it at that.

Now Chloe would like to show you how busy she has been.

Especially her new dance moves.

They are Classic.

I’m exhausted but happy.

The girls and I had a great day.

Lauren took a 4 hour nap today.

Chloe took 2 naps today.

For the first time in over a month.

We went to the park not once but TWICE to celebrate.

Oh yeah, and I FINALLY organized the garage.

At least I can park in there again.

Chloe’s “Trick”.Seriously.A headstand.No hands.

Is it bad that I had to snap a picture before I removed the cheerios?IMG_3784 IMG_3787_1  IMG_3671

…Because no post is complete without completely mortifying my child 20 years from now…

Girls, you make me so happy.

Chloe, the way you mimic everything we say and every movement we make just makes us grin from ear to ear.

You say “Mo”-AKA More CONSTANTLY. Especially when you want more milk.

Even if your sippy cup is still completely full.

You love taking things to the trash and throwing them out.

You love feeding “MELMO” – AKA Elmo your cheerios.

You love brushing the hair on your dolly.

And her teeth.

But not yours.

You have this silly shoulder shrug that cracks us up.

You love to sit on my lap and read books.

You have finally become more clingy.

I have to admit, I love it.

Oh yeah… You have not put Penelope down since you got her at Christmas.

You have also hijacked Lauren’s Penelope.

So you’re now attached to 1. A pacifier, 2. A Penelope (or two), 3. A knitted blankie.

I have no idea how we’re going to get you to go to Kindergarten without all 3.

And dear Lauren…

… you’re just da bomb.

You belly laugh like I could never have imagined.

Your squeals of laughter resonate in my mind far after you’ve fallen asleep.

Today at the park I laid you on a blanket and you were in complete heaven.

See ya at 2 am, girl.

It’s a little early, but…

…Happy Valentines Day!

…From your favorite goofball!

All that smiling can wear a sister out.

*This is one of my favorite things Chloe is doing these days… she thinks it’s fun to pretend ‘nap’ on the floor with Lauren.*
