Growing Pains

Chloe is 4 months old today.

Bittersweet doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about that!

It seems like just yesterday I was hootin' and hollerin' to get her outta there...
(maybe perhaps the wounds are still too fresh?)
... and now...

She's a solid mass of roly-poly-chunky-monkey thighs!

Seriously, on a daily basis I have to restrain myself from trying to consume her.

Every day is more and more fun.

At four months, chloe really enjoys:
Walks in her stroller,
her baby-einstein-jumpy-do-dad,
her activity-gymie-do-dad-thingiemabob,
shopping,
babbling (more like spitting),
not going to bed because she's so busy babbling (or spitting)...

Chloe does NOT enjoy:
Thinking there isn't anyone to cater to her every whim...
Waiting for a bottle (some things never change)...
Whatever it is that has made her so cranky since Christmas ~ I guess she didn't want the holiday season to end... ok, so that's not as likely as the fact that she might possibly although-we're-not-quite-sure-yet be teething...or it could be that great 4 month wakeful period thing we've been hearing about... *sigh* whatever it is, I hope she at least stops waking every hour (or twice every hour). A nice 6 hours of sleep would be great.
Chloe, are you listening to me!?
Of course not. And Why Should She?!
She has someone at her beck and call 24/7/365.

To Celebrate her 4 month birthday, her daddy and I took her to the park. It was fun!

Wow... someone call the newspaper... someone from Claremont said the words "hootin' and hollerin'".
